Fix the license activation limit
Get back into Daynode if you see a license limit message after updating or reinstalling, even on the same Mac.
Updated
If Daynode says you have reached your license activation limit, an old activation may still be using a slot. This can happen after updating or reinstalling, even if you have only used Daynode on one Mac.
You can remove the old activation and activate Daynode again with your existing license key.
Remove an old activation
- Go to My license and choose Open Polar portal.
- Sign in with the email address you used to buy Daynode.
- Open your Daynode license and find Activations.
- Select the × button on the right of an old activation to remove it. If all listed activations are from the same Mac, you can remove those entries and activate that Mac again.
Activate Daynode again
- Copy your existing license key from the customer portal.
- Open Daynode on your Mac.
- Enter the license key again to activate the app.
Daynode should remember your license after this, including when you update the app.
